More of a very late night disco-bar, Club Benavente is where many Canovas nights end up for many people, mainly because it is extremely cheap to drink in (by night-club standards) and it is the only place open till 8am with a free entry. It is one of those places that spill out onto the street in front of it, invading with the night time mayhem. Simple and no thrills but full of people and very lively. Cosmopolitan young crowd (Spanish, Europeans, Latin Americans, Africans), buzzing to the sounds of pop with a heavy accent on Latin American music and R&B. It is not a trendy, fashionable place - the vibe is unpretentious and open, with a very loose dress code (although the doorman sometimes gets picky about shoes).
