Eclectic festival in Valencia[July]

The Eclectic Festival is a cultural event organised by the City of Arts and Sciences on its grounds. It is part of the July Fair

It is mainly a series of 4-5 music concerts, ranging from a symphonic orchestra in the underground venues of the Oceanographic, amongst the fish, to some well-known names in pop music performing in the large open air spaces of the City, under the arches of the Museum of Sciences.

These concerts are worth seeing, if not just for the music then for the social buzz of congregating Valencia. This festival does feel like a city festival. In addition, the stunning architecture of the City and the open water spaces bathed in stage lights make it a magical night to remember.

And the best thing: all events are free

Apart from the concerts, the pinnacle of the festival is Eclectic Night (Eclectic Nit). Nine hours of truly eclectic creativity spilled over the grounds of the City. Street theatre, circus, jongleurs, martial arts, dancers, musicians, all mixed with the crowds. It is a most stunning and unforgettable spectacle and will make for a fantastic day out. Don't miss it.
