Amidst the Passions of Christ it is important to remember the Mother who lost Her Son. This Friday the Pain of the Mother is remembered, with the participation of the brotherhoods dedicated to the Virgin, solemnly carrying Her image on their shoulders

Procession 4 - The Seven Pains of the Virgin

Catch it at: 10 pm (start-ish), just before west Mediterraneo crosses Reina
Length: 2 hours
This is a very emotional, silent procession at night, stopping off at
seven points to pray to the Virgin for deliverance. In the end of the
procession, the Virgin will be taken off the cart and placed indoors where
it will remain for the rest of the festivities.
