Betty Pop is a curious night-club, and certainly not anything you will have seen before, since it bases itself heavily in the Spanish hits of the 80s. That said, on occasions it is one of the places to hear stuff like grunge, indie and brit pop, relatively rare music in Spain. It is an incredibly vibrant place, full of mainly students and youngsters truly letting go to the music. The club is named after the cartoon character Betty Boo and somehow they have managed to really go alone with the image, keeping it a cheeky, colourful and light-hearted place - see their website. The young energy and unpretentious fun is really overwhelming and infectious here.
