Latex is not in the centre but so close to it (just over the river to the north) that this is a pure formality. Part of the Groovelives group (PicadillyMogambo), Latex is synonymous with underground clubbing in Valencia. It is, perhaps, the most underground of the three and quite often the clear favourite with the most alternative types of Carmen and the rest of Valencia. Very popular, and hence very packed, it has all of the ambience, all of the characters and all of the interaction that you would expect from an underground nightclub. It has two dance floors - the main one where everyone hangs out and a packed tiny one with a more variety - hip-hop, rock, reggae etc. Unfortunately, however, their main floor music is not too varied, going always more or less along the line of minimal electro house but if this is your kind of thing - look no further, this is the full experience. As usual, very LGB-friendly.
