Barraca is a legend not just on the local level but on the national one. This is where the Ruta de Bacalao (techno movement of the 90s) had its birth and from here it spread like wildfire throughout Spain. Those days are gone and the music has smoothed down a lot but Barraca still tries to keep true to its underground roots, one of the last ambers of La Ruta. You can expect a very decent quality of house, electro and genuine techno with a fair few international appearances, incuding some world-famous names. The crowd is also quite a community, nostalgic for the old days of the raves. In addition, you are right by the beach if you fancy a swim afterwards.
