| San Juan de Ribera was an archbishop of Valencia in XVI century, a grand figure in the Counter-Reformation, and a collector of art and literature. This college, founded by him, now houses some of his collection of XV-XVII century paintings, all of them on religious themes, authentic and some even unrestored. As you walk in you can also view a pretty Renaissance cloister of the colegio, with the statue of the patriarch created by Mariano Benlliure. |
