Calcutta is the only late night club in Carmen. It is not large, but it is cosy. The small central dance floor is surrounded by enclaves with tables, allowing for plenty of chat, and you can also watch people from the balconies above (with more social labyrinths upstairs). Everyone is welcome here in a relaxed and eclectic atmosphere, although the majourity of the weekend public will be definitely on the mainstream, rather than alternative, side. Calcutta might lack the energy storm of a full-on club but it is a lively and relaxed enough vibe to end the night in.
