Very hidden away and undiscovered, this could be the best chill out in Carmen. An ample basement with stunning decor a-la 1930s-50s. Themes of Hitchock, Marylin Monroe, brick walls, antiques, coloured lights, ultra-comfy sofa corners and a classy soundtrack to get you cruising - all kinds of stuff from the middle of XX century, from jazz to Elvis, at a comfortable volume. It is large for a pub but the ambience is truly intimate. Not a drop of pretence, yet this place oozes class and comfort. This is the real deal, not a retro wanna-be.
