Cafe Negrito is somewhat of a legend in Carmen. Not a place to party, it is a night cafe for a good chat. A brightly lit, lively ceramic interior (with some artworks usually) and an alternative rock soundtrack. Far from being a hippy den, it is a wide spectrum of interesting characters, including many from the arts and intellectual scene, of all ages, smart or scruffy. Everyone is welcome. One of the truly bohemian places in Carmen, you can always find an interesting conversation. Negrito is also one of the last ones to close during the week when everything elses is dead.
