Arirang is a very homely small restaurant run by a Korean family long settled in Spain. The very friendly and tactful chef will welcome you at the door and give you his full attention. They have had to get rid of a large choice menu, since no one in Valencia knew what to choose, and now they have a fixed set meal at 21 euros with 4-5 Korean "best-of" choices for each of the 3 courses. You can also have the typical Korean raw fish dish (not sure what it is called) for a group of a few people, but call 1 day ahead and make sure it is not Sunday - the fish has to be bought 24 hours before. The interior is very homely, intimate, an arty decor with paintings and some Oriental theme. A quiet, hidden away family place.
