Kaede might need a bit of thought to make its interior more "fashionable Japanese" (it is somewhat too simple) but it tries really hard to prove that its sushi, sashimi, maki, teppanyaki and shabu are the real deal from real Japan, and a work of art. You can even see the chef making it right in front of you - always a good sign of confidence. This is a restaurant truly passionate about their food.
