Norte is where you pay from 30 to 60 euros for a steak, but there is a reason for it. For 20 years it has been repeatedly called the best steak in Valencia, perfection, excellence, all of those, not to mention attentive and pristine service, and a supreme knowledge of wines. The interior is somewhat simple, since the emphasis is on the quality of food and service. It is way off the beaten track, on the edge of a slightly run-down part of the Centro, so their door policy is a little more cautious than usual - you will do well to book ahead.
