Casa Guillhermo is also known as "El Rey de la Anchoa" - the King of Anchovy. Naturally, it is because their anchovies are famous not just in Valencia but in the whole of Spain, a secret recipe they have been following for 50 years now. The anchovies once even warranted a visit of the real Royals of Spain. In addition to the anchovies you will also find a whole range of other tapas, both national and local, with a special emphasis on fish. That is also natural, since Casa Guillermo is in the maritime district of Cabanyal, an atmospheric former fishermen's village. As such, it is also a thoroughly cultural experience - this bar has kept the charm of old Spain, a cosy traditional ambience, decorated with typical Spanish themes, with no interference from the outside world.
