Exposition Palace (Palacio de la Exposicion) in Valencia, Spain
Palacio de la Exposicion - Sight-seeing / Attractions in Valencia, Spain

Palacio de la Exposicion is not a historic building, rather a modern tribute to medieval history. It is, nevertheless, a very interesting sight and worth a look if you find yourself in or near Aragon. This incredibly elaborate complex is a synthesis of all Gothic styles, to create One for Them All. Another interesting point is that it was raised in just 70 days, and that was back in 1910. The building is used for private parties and functions and the interior is not really worth seeing, since it is very basic and doesn't in any way correspond to the exterior. That said, there is one room - Salon Noble - which is a gorgeous recreation of a medieval reception hall, with furniture, ornaments and coloured mosaic windows. It's not really a place where they expect tourists, but providing there are no fucntions taking place (to be sure - phone ahead), you can easily say that you want to see and they will be happy to show you. Don't be shy.
SERVICES
none, if you want to see the interior the girl at the door will show you around, she really doesn't mind.
